The book ⌜좋은 기업을 넘어 위대한 기업으로(Good to Great)⌟ changed the general perception we had on the cases of successful companies. The 11 great companies that are introduced in this book have raised their total accumulative stock profit by minimally a triple of the whole market 15 years after a ceratin turning point. The common points these companies have are a leader with modesty and will, prominent capable men, a calm and long-term sight and judgment of those people, a discipline culture within the organization, and technology added to that.
So there was a desire to study thoroughly about those 11 US companies. We chose the global company 'Gillette' which is friendly to us and advanced in the Korean market. We analyzed the efforts and strategies Gillette adopted in the aspect of marketing which are not mention in the book.

Gillette is a typical world famous company that deals with men's supplies such as razors, razor blades, shaving supplies, electric razors and etc. It was established in 1901 by King Camp Gillette(1855~1932) who was a businessman in Baltimore Seal Company and it became a corporation in 1917.
