There are several historical holidays in the U.S.; for example July 4th when America decelerate of independence, Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday who was fight for civil justice, International Women’s day which celebrate equality in women’s right, Mexican Independence day and Cinco de Mayo which celebrate Mexican’s independent from Spain and France. With historical holidays activities teach children about justice and peace and also fairness. Children are probably little too young to completely understand struggles that people had. However, they learn from adults especially teachers about how hard people try to keep peaceful world and how to respect historical holidays.
