Reason for polygamy even in this world
Polygamy in the olden and the modern tradition. Polygamy is a system of multiple marriage in which a man is able to have more than one wife.
In the olden days where farming was major industry to many families, men were engaged into numerous marriage to enlarged their families. In those days, larger the family, the biggest farms and richest. Those was the days when no one worried about sending a kid to school or learning an handicraft either. Parents and children had to work in farms as much as they could to enrich the family. On the other hand, those were the days when the females population was higher and that was the best way to adapt and make happy all the women. One can imagine how mysterious and sad life could be if a woman could not get married. Having children was a blessing and not having them seemed a curse in those days. Those were days when people gave their daughters to other nearest families as a compromise or tradition.
In our days, Polygamy still exist for some more and range of reasons. The reasons depend on each person and each man and woman have his own understanding of what is polygamy.
Polygamy is in my own definition is a united cultural, nation and race or parties under one roof, in control of one man. How can one man manage and rule or govern such opposition and parties alone?. That is easy to some men and i have witness it. I have seen rivals live together as friends, work together and understand each other like sisters. This happen when the man has the power of word. Moreover, when a woman is satisfied with all she needs and when she has peace of mind, she feels no jealous for no reason. After all they need to be attended and treated equally.
The problem here is the children. The five fingers never look the same . When the children grow together they must be united enough and have sense of humor. No envy, no greediness and selfishness especially when the father is no longer there to control. When the mothers or children are weak in faith it is an earth quake.
Polygamy in the rich families is the best when the children and wives do not stay together. Polygamy some times is a protection. And some times when the man does not defend himself well, is a hell that contaminate a lot.

2. Origin and Development
●Introduction
Islam has allowed a man to marry more than one wife. This has been done for the purpose of solving many social and domestic problems, which a family is confronted with from time to time. African society was, and to a certain extent is, a polygamous society. Islam also permits polygamy. It has allowed four wives at a time and has enjoined equality in treatment of all wives.
It should be remembered that polygamy is not a compulsory thing nor is it advocated. It is just permission with certain limitation and conditions. And in some of the circumstances this permission proves extremely useful. For example: If the wife is chronically ill, or is barren, or for some other reasons it is not desirable for the couple to live as husband and wife. The remedy offered by certain society is to divorce the wife and remarry. But is this justice? Is it kind or noble to turn out a woman in her old or middle age from her home, just because she remains sick or she happens to be barren? Islam discourages such cruelty by permitting polygamy.

●Origin and Development
Today, polygamy is regarded as the symbol of Islam society. However it has practiced over the Middle East since ancient times. In the Middle East, the temperature is too high to toddlers can survive. The only thing that is helpful to toddlers is mother’s milk which makes baby’s body strongly. Mother’s milk should be supplied for about 2 years, but if mother get pregnant during that times, mother’s breasts run dry. For that reason, they should not have sexual relations, so men greet new wives. In addition, men had ‘the land ownership’ and women had ‘the right of cultivation’, which is an inviolable right of each other. So, the chief of their tribe gave some land to men and gave the right to cultivate that land to the women who got married. If their territory expanded by war, these land allotted to men. So, to cultivate that land, men have to marry more women. Those are the reason why polygamy is needed in historically.
Also, It is well known that many prophets who appeared in the Old Treatment practiced polygamy, and Talmud which is a compendium of law and commentary applying to life in changed circumstances of Judaism limited the number of wives as 4. Polygamy took root in Arab world at the age of Muhammad. After 3 years of establish the Islam world, in 625, Uhud War was occurred. But Muslims were completely defeated in that battle, and as a result, Prophet Muhammad received a divine from Allah: “Alive people have to support orphans and widows.” This divine said that acceptable numbers of wives are only 4.

“If you deem it best for the orphans, you may marry their mothers - yo
