MALE-NURSE in Korea.
Why did he want to be
a nurse?
- His desire to open up a
new world.
He was at the top
of the National
examination for
nursing in spite of
his mother’s strong
disagreement.
He applied to the college of nursing with no certain
purpose however with the thought that
“I want to go to another way lots of men don’t go.”
He faced the prejudices toward the male nurses rather
than the aptitude or the unemployment crisis.
He overcame all his difficulties by studying hard.
In 2002, He made a homepage about male nurses’
association and administered that successfully.
In 2004, he is dealing with association of male nurses
and administration in a hospital.
He said to students
“I wish the students who study nursing have concerns about nursing rather than that about gender, when it comes that the day when the ratio of male and female nurse is balanced.”
