2. Growth
Growth without employment is continuing as manufacturing industry based on price competitiveness has lost attraction in the world and as export sectors of IT industry grows. An idea that economic growth entails consumption of energy sources and produces industrial wastes should be wiped out. We should actively respond to reinforced international environment restriction and utilize this as a momentum for economic growth. We need a paradigm for green growth that pursues economic growth and environmental protection via Green Transformation.

The government has suggested green growth in order to cut greenhouse gas emission, which is a transnational duty.

* GREEN GROWTH


The government has suggested 3 strategies and 10 policies by setting a vision: to become the 7th green nation until 2020, and the 5th until 2050.

- improve citizens' lives
Green growth must accompany environment protection and growth at the same time and therefore improve citizens' lives. Most of all, citizens themselves should participate to green growth, and they should feel this on their own.


2) Having green land, green transformation - BICYCLE

Therefore, it is important to focus on green land, green transformation. And this can lead to green revolution.
Having green land and green transformation is to renovate the country to low-carbon green growth structure. Having more bicycle roads and spreading the use of green cars will help this.
So far, automobiles have been core transportation. Due to its importance to industrial development, policies were mostly automobile-centered. However, those have caused many side-effects such as traffic jam, parking space problem, air pollution, environmental degradation, and traffic accidents. We must respond to environmental changes by having a new form of transportation. One of the alternatives to automobiles could be bicycles.
According to the bicycle usage analysis in May 2010, 64.7% rode bicycles within a year, and 80% of them did so as a form of leisure. This indicates that bicycles are public-friendly, and can be an alternate transportation with great potentials as day life transportation.


3) The reason why riding bicycle more should be promoted
➀ Cities which lost vitality due to automobiles can be refreshed
➁ Solve social problems stemming from car accidents and isolation
