2005~2008년 4년 동안 강박장애 진료환자 자료를 분석한 결과 10대 청소년층 환자는 2005년 1824명에서 2008년 2878명으로 58% 늘어나 연령대 중 가장 놓은 증가율을 보였다.

10대 청소년층 강박장애 환자가 크게 늘어난 주 원인으로, 과도한 학업 스트레스가 지목되었다.

By age 10 admissions of patients suffering from stress, there was remarkable growth.
