Principal Customers and Markets. Paradise casinos are only for foreigners. So their main customers and target market are foreign countries and foreigners, not koreans. They focus on China because China has gradually become a more important part for global economy and of course for the tourism industry. Nowadays, chinese people have much more higher percentage of the casino guests who visit Korea for gambling than japanese. For this reason, they dispatch a number of competent marketers to China to take care of their customers and offer them lots of promotions such as switching a seat on the flight, giving sufficient comp, in order not to lose their main customers.

International Operations. Paradise group also has an overseas operation in Kenya; Nairobi, the capital of Kenya. In Kenya, they operates the Hotel, named Paradise Safari Park, and Safari Park Casino in there. It’s considered as the leading leisure and conference hotel in East and Central Africa and has renown for its combination of business and relaxation.

2. Grand Korea Leisure

GKL(Grand Korea Leisure), a subsidiary of korea tourism organization that operates Seven Luck casino, a foreigner exclusive casino, is a public enterprise established for the following purposes, to attract more foreign tourists, to enhance the international competitiveness of the Korean casino industry, and to use the revenue generated from casino operation to invest in building tourism related infrastructure and public projects. They are at the center of the Korean tourism industry in contributing to the development of the national economy. It will give its best to establish a positive image of the casino industry by promoting various activities that contribute to the society. In addition, all employees of GKL are making efforts under the top-priority corporate scheme to overcome any negative view and biases of the casino industry. GKL has been aiming to become a premier company that pursues high profitability and contributing to the national through a consistent profit model.
