Trash is a waste that is made in the process of production and transportation or is junked by becoming extinct of their economic value after using several products in the routine life. However, of the population more than 2 / 3 live in urban by increasing urban concentration because of the rapid industrialization. Also, as the economy grows a lot and a rich economic circumstance is established, the level of life increases gradually. As a result, the amount of the trash increases suddenly and the kinds also become various that the city-environment problem caused by the trash becomes more serious.
According to the Ministry of Environment, the amount of domestic waste was 47,774 tones per a day in 1995 and it decreased to 44,583 tons per a day in 1998 when it was after IMF. From 1998 to 2003, it increased and, after 2003 it decreased. Finally, after 2006 (48,844 tons per a day), it is continually increasing.
After 1970s, the economy have developed and the industry have expanded that the amount of all kinds of products have increased terribly and in addition, by increasing material wealth, the amount of trash have increased markedly as the consumption of each consumer goods grow rapidly and the level of life improve.
