Abstract
This research examines time and globalization including history of time system, and the impact of globalized time system. There are key components which should be addressed in this paper to explain the beginning of the globalized time system, and how it affected our lives. The need of standardized time system made it possible to complete the industrialization and the introduction of train. The industrialization induced the G.M.T because of the efficiency and standardized working hours, and the spread of train connected the different regions under the same time system. Four components of globalization can be applied to the result of the globalized time system in terms of positive and negative effects. Overall the significant reason of time and globalization was the industrialization and its impact has been observed in various fields of our lives.
