Background: According to recent investigation the amount of smart phone users in Korea exceeded 2 million people. The present status of smart phone use reported by Korea Communications Commission shows smart phones are used for visual use much more than existing cell phones. But there is no research which explains remarkable effect of smart phone on visual fatigue. This study is focused on th effect of smart phone on visual fatigue and its significance.
Purpose: The specific objects of this study are as follows
1.Investigate the pattern of smart phone use among smart phone users.
2.Investigate other living characteristics and patterns which can effect visual fatigue.
3.Verify the significance of the effect of each variable on visual fatigue
4.Examine the correlation of smart phone usage time and visual fatigue adjusted for confounding variables.
