Organic Light Emitting Diode(OLED)

An OLED is an electronic device made by placing a series of organic thin films between two conductors. When electrical current is applied, a bright light is emitted

A device that is 100 to 500 nanometers thick or about 200 times smaller than a human hair

Active matrix OLED

AMOLED is made of an integrated electronic back-plane made from thin film transistors(TFTs)

A defective pixel produces only a dark defect, which is considered to be much less objectionable than a line defect
or a bright point defect(such as in LCD panels)

Each pixel addressed independently


Release the color using not the RGB illuminant but the filter after emitting the light using white illuminant.
