Ⅰ. What is the KOICA?
KOICA: Korea international cooperative agency.
KOICA is governmental funded institute for ODA(official development assistance). The goals of KOICA are to support development of The Third World and promote international cooperation with them. KOICA undertakes various programs such as private - public cooperative business, emergency disaster relief in cooperative nation, supporting project with international organizations such as UN, WFK(world friends Korea)...and so on. Because of organizational goal to support developing country, KOICA needs many voluntary works. So, KOICA has two types organization. One is voluntary organization, the other one is management(employee) organization.

Voluntary Organization: KOICA supports many voluntary organization works. WFK(world friends Korea) is representative program depended on volunteer' participation. So, in this essay. we will focus on WFK as voluntary organization in KORCA. By this program, KOICA try to promote welfare in developing country. Although volunteers should serve out their term and get minimum of financial support for survive, competition rate to register to participate in WFK is high. Volunteers expect worthwhile activities, a sense of accomplishment on this program.

Management organization: In this essay, it means 'employee group'. This is consist of policy planning division, management support division, Asia 1 tean, Asia 2 division, Africa division, middle east of Asia and central-south America division, climate change response division, private - public cooperative planning division, competency development division, humanitarian assistance division, international development cooperative team, WFK team.
