Ⅰ. Introduction

1-1. Investigation assignments
In this report, we would like to discuss about necessity of integrated information system in restaurant industry. The report analyzed ‘토종 칼국수와 족발’ as a representative case of the absence of integrated information system. The report specifically points out problems caused by absence of integrated information system and suggests solutions with the problems.

1-2. Topic selection and Reason
is a native corporation in Daejeon. There are 6 direct branch restaurants in Daejeon and mainly sells Jokbal and Kalguksoo. The company has a short history of introduction of information system. adopted POS(Point-Of-Sales) in 2000s. POS system enabled servers to receive order conveniently, calculate prices easily and deleted many of task redundancy. However, there are still remaining problems to be solved.
We found problems in absence of integrated information system and will suggest available introduction of information systems. Through this report, we expect to understand the nature of information system and study how and what kind of information system affects restaurant industry in several ways.

1-3. Investigation subject
The report firstly introduce corporation situation analysis as a procedure to derive current problems in . Following content suggests structured problems and solutions for the problems. Not only just suggest available information system, the report also concerns about superb case of usage of integrated information system in same industry. By analyzing following contents, we would search for best information system that suits current restaurant and predict differences caused by introduction of integrated information systems. Furthermore the last content introduces each member of the group and gives information on what each of them has contributed to the report.
