The fast development of world communication and information technology has caused the revolution of whole TV broadcast industry chain, among which digital TV is a key part. With fully digitalized TV broadcast, traditional TV media will combine with other media methods of information and communication field in respects of technology and function to generate a new big digital TV industry. This newly appearing industry has caused much concern. For customers, the appearance of DTV means high legibility of TV and conversion of tv using function; for tv makers, its appearance means wide market and high profit. Kinds of advantage of DTV has made people expect the arrival of digitalized times.
In 1884, when the father of TV-German engineer named Paulo Nepukefu invented round mechanical tv, maybe he didn't know this common thing can bring so much influence in human society. Only within about 100 years, TV has developed into a leading tool in human society scientific technology.
To date, Digital Television has had varying degrees of success. Governments around the world want it to happen and some are setting ambitious dates for its introduction. DTV will mark a major change in television, not least because of the potential explosion of new channels that will be enabled.
