|Owning to the accelerating visual computing ability in both software and hardware, more and more new technologies are emerging and have been applied to larger areas. However, due to the unique artistic and aesthetic features of Chinese traditional artworks, these technologies cannot be mechanically applied to them. In this sense, customizing such technologies is very important and urgent. Consequently, in this study, we focused on proposing a special expression method for making Chinese blue and white porcelain 3D model from the perspective of light. In this study, we discussed the effect of light on the reality of the target model from five parameters, which were position, direction, intensity, range and color. Firstly we tested the suggested value range for each of them separately by conducting a questionnaire with choices. Secondly, based on pairwise comparison, we proposed the weight for every parameter, which was used for ordering the importance of the five parameters and then finding out the starting point for the overall rendering process. Lastly, we began with the starting point and then added other parameters one by one into the scene for enhancing the reality gradually. Meanwhile, we also modified the value of each parameter within its corresponding suggested value range, in order to adjust them well to the overall rendering effect and balance the harmony of the image.
