This study focuses on how the possibility of feminist practice to present the principles of social composition in a new way can be realized in literary texts. When ‘Go Jeong-hee’ expresses people suffering from social and structural problems, she does not portray them as powerless. Rather than, she expresses the power of the people, women, and other subordinate bodies to heal and revive themselves. Her poetic-ego has an ‘ecological identity’ and is formed a ‘female imaginary’. Many symbols in the poem, ‘Go Jeong-hee’, say that all we need is a relationship that lives and survives on each other, not dedication and sacrifice. This study called the poet’s method ‘Demeter-Persephone Poetics’. The poet’s approach will help solve the problems of modern Korean society. |
