    Although there are a lot of benefits when using information systems (IS) in organizations and industries, the success in implementing of IS has been rare. Previous research regarding IS has identified that employees` resistance has been a critical reason of why the implementation has failed. Previous research, however, seems to miss the role of supervisory and orgazniational support with trust along with employee personality traits (e.g., risk aversion and tolerance ambiguity) to reduce employee resistance when implemeting new IS. The purpose of this study is to develop a research model regardingresistance theory, supervisory support, organizational support, and trust that could explore how employee resistance can be lowered by trust that is affected by support from the supervisor and from the organization. At the same time, we propose that howrisk aversion and tolerance for ambiguity interactwith supervisory support and organizational support, and trust to decrease employee resistance the most.
