    영문초록
    This study were analyzed expository text for Grade1 and Grade6 in the by rhetorical structure theory. The primary rhetorical relations of the expository text for Grade1 are joint and elaboration. Also there is characterized by repeating the same structure. It is important to present to the topic of the explanation simply and clearly, and is necessary to understand the content through repetition. The primary rhetorical relations of the expository text for Grade6 are evaluation and cause/result. And also it shall be described to the background and circumstance for the topic of the explanation. Because old children have appeared in the variety of perspectives on the description of the topic and they are interested in analyzing of the text which is presented more logically. The rhetorical structure theory clearly can be shown the discourse structure of children`s texts by the age group and it`s also useful creating the text.
