영문초록
The purpose of this study is investigated Korean linguistic professor Chang-hai Park`s researching achievements. His principal literary works are as follows. Easy Korean Grammar(1946)-traditional linguistic viewpoint, Teaching Technique(translated English into Korean)(1955) -pedagogic book, An Intensive Course in English Book Ⅰ(1960), Ⅱ(1965) -Korean textbook for foreigner, An Introduction to Descriptive Linguistics (translated English into Korean)(1961), A Structural study of Korean Phonemics and morphemics(1964, 1967, 1990)-structural descriptive linguistic viewpoint, A Study of Modern Korean Syntax(2007) and others. He in the 1950ㆍ60s introduced American structural descriptive linguistic theory and methodology. After that adopting this view he analysed systematically the structure of Korean phonemics and morphemics. Professor Chang-hai Park contributed to introduce American structural descriptive linguistic theory positively apply to Korean Language. And his An Intensive Course in Korean Book played an important role in later Korean educational text books for foreigner.
