This literature study is about the year-end seasonal folk custoni during Koryo and Qiosun Dynasty. Korean ancestors visited close relatives and bowed greetings to their eld on New Year`s eve. They gave New Year`s gifts to their relatives from deep within the heart. They drank siiced liquor as seasonal drinks, and played Jeo-po Noly through the night Moreove Both of a palsoe and private houses fired the artillery or played a dnim called Guna to retrxve evil spirits and welcorre fortimate New Year`s spring. Recently, Korea has the watch-night bell event on the last day of a year. fri front of Bosingak, farixus sing perform the show on the stage. Also, bell tolling is dune instead of beating the drum, and cultural performance and fireworks are cessed instead of Guna Pople exchange jxesents by parcel service instead of seasonal books or Guesesoe, and use text messages instead of bowing. With the year coming to a dose, young people drink all night and children go to bed early while old people watch TV and end the year. In the past, winter enckl and spring started soon after celebrating New Year`s eve. However, in present days year-end is celebrated at the solar calendar, and lunar new year`s day is celebrated at the lunar calendar. Therefom, to meet spring, we need to wait rrore than two rmnths even after celebrating New Year`s eve, which causes the limits and the probleris on the study of the year-end seasonal folk custom.
