영문초록

This paper attempts to interpret Henry V in view of the Christian spirit. Henry V is considered as the most excellent king of England because of his devout faith and victory of the Agincourt battle. So Henry V seems to be the mirror of all Christian kings and God`s chosen warrior. Henry V can be compared to Moses and David in the sense that he leads the English people from the state of chaos and rebellion to the state of stability and national unity. In this sense, Henry V set up a renewed nation of stability and strength by following the providential history. In spite of his success as a Christian king, Henry V`s inner attitude shows the non-Christian way such as threat, responsibility imputation and power will. The negative and non-Christian spirit lurks in Henry V`s inner mind. (Hannam University).
