The purpose of this study is to examine nail design preference according to personality types. For the data collection, a questionnaire was conducted on 623 adult females between their 20s and 50s. SPSS WIN 18.0 statistical analysis program was used for the data analysis and Frequency Analysis and Cross tabulation were performed. The results of the research are as below. 1. Most of nail designs preferred according to personality have significant differences but there was also tendency to prefer the same design regardless of personality. 2. As for nail shapes, all of introverts and extroverts most preferred the square off shape. Furthermore, regarding nail colors, all of them most did pink colors. When it comes to nail color art technique, introverts most preferred gradation and extroverts full coat. All of them most preferred stone objet for nail art objet. 3. It is recommended that nail shape, colors and nail art objet should provide services regardless of personality types after consideration for fashion or fashion styles. In addition, it is suggested that nail color art technique should provide differentiated services after consideration for personality features.
