This paper describes a design of the source driver for WQVGA -scale (240RGBx432) LCD Driver IC. The source driver for small chip area and high quality display is designed using the FSC (Field Sequential Color) method and the dot inversion method. The source driver consists of three blocks: a reference voltage generator block, a grayscale voltage generator block, and a source line block. A circuit of the source driver has been designed in transistor level using 0.18= CMOS technology and has been verified using Hspice.
