The concept of Justice according to Paul Ricoeur can be characterized by ``little ethics`` which aims at a good life with and for others in just institutions. It can be realized only when there is a reciprocity between Aristotle`s teleological ethics and Kant`s deontological moral. For Ricoeur, this two theories -teleology and deontology -are mutually supplementary, but not equal in status. Both ethics and moral discuss ``justice``, but Ricoeur asserts the true justice is revealed when it follows the concept of ethics rather than moral. So, ethics is the primitive and fundamental, but morality is the derived and secondary. The key point of his ethical theory is ``the primacy of ethics over morality``. Because there is evil, the aim of the ``good life`` has to be submitted to the test of moral obligation. Therefore, it is necessary to put both Aristotle`s ethics and Kant`s moral under one theme - little ethics - in order to analyse Ricoeur`s concept of justice. One of the most efforts of the contemporary period has been John Rawls`s attempt to provide a solution to the unresolved problem. But according to Ricoeur, the Rawlsian theory of justice is a deontology without a transcendental foundation. It would not be off base to say that the transition from the universal plane of obligation to the historical one of application comes down to returning to the resources of the ethics of a good life in order, if not to resolve, at least to pacify the aporias arising from the inordinate demands of a theory of justice or a theory of discussion that bases its formalism only on procedural principles and rigor.
