This Article aims to overvies the current statutes and rules relating to the development of IT Hub in China and Taiwan. In consideration of the strength of IT industry of Korea and its international standing, Korea shall be able to function as a hub of East Asian and global IT Industry. It is an essential prerequisite of nationwide hub development to foster core hubs as strategic posts. The necessity for establishing IT Hub has been confirmed through the foreign model cases. In the light of development and management of IT hub the existing public policy and legal regulations for industrial district do not provide adequate institutional framework and support for the purpose. There are multiple statues and administrative regulations which are applicable to the development and management of IT Hub. The major inadequacy of the existing legal regulations comes from the normative conflicts and jurisdictional overlapping among them as well as complicated procedures. So it``s necessary to consider either consolidating the scattered legal regulations into one integrated statute or enacting a separate Act on the Special Cases concerning comprehensive support for IT hub.
