영문초록

The Korean Civil Code provides about Gift and Gifts mortis causa as followings. Article 554 says about ``Meaning of Contract of Gift`` that “A contract of gift shall become effective when one of the parties declares his intention to transfer property of his own gratuitously to the other party and the other party agrees to accept it”. An Article 562 provides about ``Gifts mortis causa`` that “The provistions relating to testamentary gifts shall apply musatis mu-tandis to a contract of gift which is to become effective qpon the death of the donor”. There are several legal problems about Gifts mortis causa.
