영문초록
Gaeseong Industrial Complex is expected to have various legal problems such as civil, criminal, corporate, labor, administrative, and environmental cases, for it is the first place where two Koreas agreed to cooperatively perform manufacturing activity. Also, the GIC is the experimental zone to both of Koreas for their integration; North Korea will experience a new system totally different from its socialist one, while South Korea has an opportunity to review overall previous acts regarding exchange and cooperation, and inspect preparatory works to build legal framework for national unification. Furthermore, the experiment of the GIC will be of great importance, for North Korea will probably try to apply the same development model or legal system nation-widely in case of success like Shenzhen Special Economic Zone in China. North Korea`s economic reform legislation has been influenced by that of China. Shenzhen Special Economic Zone was the laboratory of the experiment on various economic reform policies and institutions in China. Therefore it will suggest significant implications for preparation and development of the GIC legal framework to consider legislative procedures, changes, and trial and error of Chinese Special Economic zones.
