국문초록
본고는 漢文科에서 할 수 있는 인성 교육의 가능성과 방향을 탐색해 보고자 한다. 이를 위해 한문과 인성 교육의 연구 성과를 살펴보고, 2007개정 한문과 교육과정과 2009 개정 한문과 교육과정에서의 인성 교육 관련 요소를 추출해 보았다. 또한 한문 교과서에서의 인성 교육 구현 양상을 살펴보기 위해 2009 개정 한문과 교육과정에 따른 중학교 한문 교과서를 대상으로 인성 교육 관련 글감 수록 양상을 살펴보았다. 대부분의 교과서에서 人性과 관련된 다양한 내용을 폭넓게 다루고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 다만, 인성 교육과 관련된 본문 학습 활동이나 본문 관련 제시 자료는 글감이 가진 소재의 풍부함에 비하면 상대적으로 빈약하였다. 마지막으로 실제 한문과에서 인성 교육을 어떻게 설계하고 어떤 방식으로 가르쳐야 하는지에 관하여 ‘선인들의 삶과 지혜, 전통문화를 통한 가치관과 인성 함양’에 맞는 교수 단위를 제시해 보았다. 인성 교육에 대한 사회의 요구는 앞으로 더욱 증가하리라 예상되지만, 한문과에서는 아직 인성 교육에 관한 이론적 탐색이나 방향 제시 등이 구체화되지 못했기 때문에 이에 대한 다각적인 연구가 필요하다. 또한 학교 현장에서 한문 수업 시간에 학생들에게 어떻게 인성 교육을 할 것인지에 관한 구체적 수행 양상에 대한 연구가 필요하다.
영문초록
This paper aims to look into the possibility and direction of character education of Chinese Classics which can be considered as one of affective subject areas. For that, study results of Chinese Classics and character education were examined and elements related to character education in Revised 2009 Chinese Classics education curriculum were extracted. As a result of reviewing the aspects in which writing materials were included in Middle school Chinese Classics textbook according to the revised 2009 Chinese Classics education curriculum, it could be known that most textbooks widely dealt with various virtues involved in personality. In Chapter V proposed teaching guidelines about how character education should be designed and in what method such education should be taught.
