Until now, many researchers of the East Asia have been worked continuously for big goal the ``mutual understanding`` and ``shared`` understanding of history. President of German, Herzog Roman said in an address, "mutual understanding, it can grow when peoples see their history in the same direction. Does not add anything, without erasing anything." I think he may be emphasize the importance for the sharing of historical facts before perception of history. However, to confirm the gap of opinion should be done before the larger goal, ``mutual understanding`` in Korean and Japan Relationship. Such a process of checking whether the process of getting to know me and another is located at any point. And it is the process own at some point, whether from their own location specific and empirically verify. Only it can make clues for narrow the gap between me and the other when we can accurately identify their position. And this clues can lead to the foundation and essential effect for ``mutual understanding``. Therefore, In this study, I analyzed middle school history textbooks of korean and Japan, as how to explore these coordinates point. First of all, I explored their perspectives and views by selecting the contents of history textbooks in related history in Korea and Japan. And then, I extracted the main representations, words and concepts about their history. Thus I reveals their the inherent perception and recognition of history. Described knowledge in textbooks that may affect when the students be adult in the future, in their position on a particular issues. Therefore, the reviews on the recognition and perception of history are meaningful methods for exploring students` historical recognition that they will have historical recognitions by learning their history textbooks.
