Liposuction has become popular and commonly performed with few side effects. However, according to increasing of lip-oaspiration volumes, complications have occurred more frequently. Here we present a case report of 29-years old female who had pulmonary thromboembolism (PTE) after liposuction misdiagnosed as community acquired pneumonia. She was hospi-talized by chief complain of cough and right chest pain, who had underwent liposuction 10 days ago. Although we suspected pneumonia and prescribed antibiotics, there was no improvement. Therefore, we checked chest CT and diagnosed PTE as com-plication of liposuction. This case report could be an alarm to clinician about complication of liposuction.
