국문초록
연산동고분군은 부산지역에서는 최대 규모의 봉분을 가진 삼국시대 고분군이다. 일찍부터 복천동고분군과 함께 주목받아온 수장급 묘역이었다. 최근 봉분에 대한 조사와 함께 발굴조사가 진행되어 그 면모가 알려지게 되었다. 연산동고분군을 비롯해서 영남 각지에서 고총고분과 중소형급의 석곽묘군이 5세기 3/4분기 경에 등장하기 시작하였다. 이러한 영남지방의 큰 변화의 배경은 신분제의 정립, 즉 계층화와 계급화가 진전되면서 점차 분묘의 조성이 체계화되어 가는 과정으로 이해하였다. 복천동고분군과 연산동고분군에서 출토된 외래계 유물, 특히 왜계 유물에 주목하여 연산동집단이 역동적인 대외활동을 전개한 것으로 보았다. 왜계 유물은 연산동집단이 자율적인 대외 교섭권을 갖고 있었음을 의미한다. 연산동고분군에서 고총고분이 조영되는 시기까지 부산지역은 주변지역을 아우르는 지역수장권을 갖춘 지방정치세력으로 존속하였다.
영문초록
Yeonsandong Tombs which have biggest scale of mounds in Busan region are acknowledged as the ancient tombs of Three Kingdoms Era. Those tombs are the graveyards of head of tribal, and were attracted attentions of researchers from a hundred year ago, as Bokcheondong Tombs which located in Busan region. With the latest examination of the diverse burial mounds, the investigation and excavation have been carried on and identified the factual meaning those tumulus have. The Tumulus and stone lined tomb of small and mid-sized were often newly appeared from a third quarter of the 5th century as the Yeonsandong Tombs, in Youngnam region. The background of big change of the burial customs in Youngnam region means the establishment of the caste system, and means that establishments of tombs were systematized with the progressing of stratification and classing in ancient tribes. The foreign artifacts, especially Japanese artifacts which were excavated in Yeonsandong Tombs shows that Yeonsandong group had developed the dynamic foreign activity and trading relationship. The Japanese artifacts were recognized that Yeonsandong group had autonomous foreign bargaining rights. As the Tumulus of Yeonsandong Tombs had been build as the above mentioned, Busan had continued to exist as the head tribe of the local political forces, with the control of the head that covers the area surrounding areas in Pusan Area.
