Five basic patterns were derived from the classical Chinese grammar. They are useful for reading the texts of drug minerals in the oriental medical handbook ``Donguebogam`` written in Chinese characters by Heo Jun in 1613: 1) S+P (P: verb, adjective, noun) ① ② 2) S+V+C (C: noun, adjective, 於·object ① ③ ② 3) S+V+O ① ③ ② 4) S+V+Oi+Od(S+V+Od+於·Oi) ① ④ ② ③ ① ④ ③ ② 5) S+V+O+C (C: predicate) ① ④ ② ③. S: subject, P: predicate, V: verb, C: complement, Oi: indirect object, Od: direct object. ① ② ③ ④: the orders to be translated into Korean. By means of the five basic patterns the original Chinese texts of drug minerals of talc and actinolite in the ``Donguebogam`` were analysed as examples of their applications and presented in tables of 3 and 4. |
