This study will clarify the features of science teachers whom middle and high school female students like. We hope to use these results as basis of interest and motivation for female students learning science. The features of science teachers whom the middle and high school female students like can be summarized as follows: 1) Middle school female students tend to prefer male teachers to female one. On the other hand, high school female students don`t concern about the gender of their teachers. Generally, female students don`t mind whether their teachers are married or not. 2) Female students like science teachers who pronounce cheerfully and use plain expressions. 3) Female students tend to prefer science teachers who work together with their students at the same point of view and with recent scientific information. Now the degree of preference for science teachers tends to decrease as the students go to higher grades; at the same time, high school students show an inclination that if their scores are at the highest position, they like present science teachers.
