German unification was regarded as one of the most striking historical euphoria in the 20 centuries. Few scholars expected that the German unification could be implemented so fast and the western alliance such as the USA, the United Kingdom and France as well as the former Soviet Union may have agreed with one another. The process of German unification is based on integration and transformation. These two key factors have played the most important roles in achieving the unification, which could have contributed to bringing the EU to other dimension of being the largest economic and political blocs in the world. On the other side, however, it caused various problems and difficulties in terms of internal politics, social conflicts and disparities between the East and West, labor issues etc. This paper focuses on the two questions about the velocity of the unification and the measures of solving problems in order to analyze and assess the unification processes in economic and political aspects. |
