|The main objective of the paper is to consider the copulative type of wordformation, one of the ways to create two?component legal terms in Korean language. Secondly, the article aimed at carrying out the analysis of meaning and semantic relations between morphemes as well as revealing the sub?patterns of terminological units, and suggesting their translation into Russian language. As a first step, an insight into word?formation within Sino?Korean lexicon was taken, since legal terms of Korean language are of Sino?Korean origin. Then the legal terminology of Korean language was analyzed to select those units which are comprised of two morphemes. Among the selected terms those which demonstrate copulative type of connection between the morphemes were analyzed in this paper. The article also aims to give a proper translation of the corresponding terms into Russian. This is stipulated by the practical needs of inter?cultural communication and growing Korean?Russian exchange and cooperation. Unfortunately, the existing Korean?Russian dictionaries do not provide the translation of many terminological units in focus. As a result, the paper suggests analysis of structure of 208 Korean legal terms, as well as their translation into Russian.
