2020년 코로나와 자택 근무로 인해 전 세계 PC 판매는 전년 대비 11% 성장하였다. 이는 최근 5년간 최대 성장이다.
노트북 컴퓨터 (Notebook Computer) 는 정보 통신과 정보 처리, 그리고 각종 소프트웨어가 융합된 기술의 핵심이라고 할 수 있다. 2000년대 초만 하더라도 우리는 데스크탑 컴퓨터, MP3 플레이어, PMP(Portable Multimedia Player), 전자사전, 디지털카메라 등 많은 전자 제품을 가지고 있었다. 이제는 노트북 하나로 업무, 학습, 여가 활동 등 여러 전자 제품 기능을 수행할 수 있다. 노트북에 대한 좀 더 넓은 이해를 위해 2020년 3월 출시된 MACBOOK AIR (인텔)과 같은 해 11월 출시된 MACBOOK AIR (M1) 모델을 비교 분석 하고자 한다.
