2. The survey of unit and object of reorganization
To reorganize the unit, we need to examine some features of elementary english class demanded on the 7th curriculum. Elementary english as a curriculum advancing skill understanding and expressing basic english used in actual life such as individual students, family, school and society. Also, regarding the trait of elementary students, learning activity offers the pleasure of discovery from coming in contact with feeling and play in real life from the work-study. Furthermore it is desirable to use kinds of game, play, roll-playing, singing, chant and so on because of importance of arousing interests of students and It should be encouraged in using creative english communication skill when teaching language.
To achieve the purpose of 7th elementary english education, we are to bring in communicative language teaching. CLT which is to communicate as a goal language lays weight on helping use goal language properly in actual state. Therefore speaking fluently and accuracy are mutual relation principle based on communication skill. but sometimes accuracy is more important than speaking fluently. Also all activities of process of teaching-learning like game, roll-playing, problem solution task are advanced to increase the skill of communication of students and it characterizes that which is composed small-group unit utilizing authentic materials used actually.
