1. Why we choose E-Land
E-Land has been popular for its unique management style. Growing steadily, this group has used KMS(knowledge management system), and it is considered as very important elements of the company’s growth.
They are asking through ‘learning position’, taking advices through ‘listening position’ and sharing ‘ambitious attitude’, ‘attitude of looking themselves’.
From now on, we wanted to know about this E-Land group and its KMS in detail.

2. Introduction of E-Land
2.1 Corporate Profile
Established in 1980, E-Land has made its best endeavors to integrate the merits and drawbacks of the products in apparel market, which are divided into casuals & famous brands Adopting a franchise system in apparel industry for the first time in Korea, E-Land established an integrated image without regarding to time and place, enhanced brand’s confidence and recognition, enabled the company to enter the market in a short period and conducted promotional activities efficiently with relatively small capital.
E-Land started restructuring at the beginning of 1997 for 'the efficient reorganization of the business structure', 'the comprehensive improvement of the financial structure' and 'the innovation of business management system'.
Having successfully opened up a new market of apparel discount outlet, E-Land acquired NewCore Co. Ltd. (in 2003) to make a new take-off. Especially, E-Land has invested to the establishment of Knowledge Management System (aka KMS) including 'the employment of ERP system'.

2.2 Vision and Strategy
The E-Land Group is concentrating on intangible aspects by relying on their superior knowledge of brand management. The E-Land Group’s corporate expertise now focuses on such intricate skills as branding, store layout, service and style.
Group's intangible is "Differentiation" for every specific customer type; They create exceptional values for each selected group of customers.

3. Introduction of Knowledge Management System
3.1 The background & concept of KMS
One of the striking characteristics of 21C is constant changes. Overall systems of the society will be greatly changed beyond individual consciousness in 21C. In short, there are no guarantees that currently overwhelming strategies a
