Ⅰ. Introduction

As a pervasive part of modern life, the Internet has become an important part of the human life. People can effectively acquire information and solve many daily problems through the Internet, such as shopping and taking online courses. As Internet use has become dramatically popular among adolescents, the world of the Internet became the principal information source and place of relief for these adolescents. In spite of the widely perceived merits of the Internet, adolescents, who are often frequent Internet users but have not yet developed high mental maturity, are viewed as a group of potential Internet addicts.
It brings negative as well as positive influences to adolescents. So Internet addiction is an important issue for psychologists and educators. Policy makers, psychologists, and educators have been aware of the negative impacts of its use, especially the excessive use and the related physical and psychological problems. When adolescents become a major population of Internet users, more research is required to explore the causes and solutions of adolescents’ Internet addiction.
The present studies examined whether Internet dependency and game addiction were related to one's depressive symptoms, aggression and intolerance. The results implied that relationship between internet addiction and these psychological symptoms is positive. In other words, Adolescents with higher frustration intolerance might go online to avoid the stress instead of seeking help from others or professional treatment.
However these results indicated that not only high levels of Internet use were directly associated with high these psychological symptoms, but they were also indirectly related through poor social supports, such as parents, peers and teachers and so on. That is, it is hypothesized that cyber-relationships substitutes for an unmet need in an actual relationship. For example, frequent game use was related to high peer-group satisfaction. Together, these studies indicate that cyber-relationships can provide a sens of belonging, warmth, and well-beings. Also results implied that gender should be considered an important factor when examining the impact of Internet use on personal adjustment.
The purpose of this study is to find out the hindering factors on Internet addiction in adolescents. Social control theory proposes that people's relationships, commitment, values, norms and beliefs encourage them not to break the law. Thus, if moral codes are internalized and individuals are tied into, they will voluntarily limit their propensity to commit deviant acts. To the main purpose, the study task was to recognize how those factor of family, school environment have influence on internet addiction. This study described an attempt to explore adolescents’ Internet addiction through interviews and questionnaires.
