1. Front-end loading
executive summary라고도 일컬어지는 리포트의 처음 몇 페이지는
가장 많이 읽히는 페이지라는 것을 염두하고 writer들은 가능한 내용
과 중요한 연구들을 첫 부분에 제시해야 한다.
2. 짧고 간단하게
짧은 문장이 긴 문장보다 낫다.
짧은 단어가 긴 단어보다 낫다.
가능하면 표와 차트에 정보를 요약해라.
전치사 사용하지 말 것
전문용어 가능하면 적게 사용할 것.

개요 -최종 레포트의 기본적인 개요가 제공 되어져야함.
-예상되어지는 내용의 간단한 설명과 함께 중요한 섹션들이 리스트 되어져야 함.
-연구자가 연구할 양적인 결과의 타입을 설명하기 위해서 dummy(가상) tables이 사용되어 질수 있음.
예산과 스케쥴 -연구자의 비용, 청구서의 조건을 포함하는 연구프로젝트를 실행할 때 예상되는 비용의 내역서
-연구가 실행되었을 때의 시간적인 부분도 리스트되어져야 함.
자격 연구자의 자격의 간단한 설명을 포함함.
