After IMF period, Korea government enthusiastically built IT-infra structure as a preparation of a New economy. It makes new business like a Internet portal. At the beginnings, so many small companies were flooded in a market, but now few big companies leading a market.
In these days, 3companys are compete for the leader of a internet portal industry.
(Community and personalizing based portal Daum, Game and searching service based portal Naver, and wire and wireless linkage community portal Nate that is under the huge firm’s supporting.)
At one time, bubble criticism was mentioned because of profitality. But now, some company as I mentioned above, earns money steadily by various profit model. So market and investors are pay attention to a internet portal industry.
Internet portal business is characterized by rapid industrial changing and sensitiveness by social trend.
