Market economic system is an economic system in which price, wage, product and service are determined by market force of supply and demand, without any state interference. After many problems of market economic system were uncovered, planned economic system appeared. Planned economic system(or Command economic system) is an economic system in which all resources are divided by the plan of government. However planned economic system also made many troubles, people want to live in more alternative economic system like Mixed economic system. Mixed economic system is an economic system in which some elements are state-owned and others are privately owned.
6. General Objectives
At the end of the class students should be able to
- speak one more characteristic, merit and demerit of free-market system,
- discriminate each economic system by using criterion like possession of the means of production, allocation of resources.
- understand that apparant background of mixed economic system what is the main current in modern economic system.
7. Matters That Requires Attention
- Dwell on difference of standard that distinguish capitalistic/socialistic economic system or market/planned economic system.
- Explain appearance of mixd economic system that arise from growth of market economy system and planned econmy system.
- Explain feature of market economy and planned economy for following angle - relate to possessive type of the means of production, making decisions for allocation of resources, organization that control allocation of resources, incentive for economic action
