Conclusion
We have a dataset of 87 students from 4 classes of Korea University College of Political Science and Economics. The samples are supposed to represent the whole Korea University students and they were collected according to the convenience sampling. Thus the analysis from the dataset may net well represent the whole.
There are many student data starting from their physique to their habits and their social opinions. From the dataset, we have raised three questions.
Is there any difference between male and female students as to how much they are liberal in terms of religion?
Is there difference between male and female students in terms of calorie intake?
Is politically liberal student more likely to be socially liberal as well?
We will solve above three questions and provide with statistical evidence to support each answers. The level of significance α is set at 0.05. The solution is given below.
Gender - Religious Liberalism
We want to know whether there are differences between male and female students as to how much they are liberal in terms of religion. We will go over a hypothesis test to solve this.
The null hypothesis and the alternative hypothesis are defined as below.
μ_1=Male and female are equally liberal in terms of religion
μ_2=Male and female are not equaly liberal in terms of religion
