Reflection
SongSong: Whlie I read this book, I was more absorbed than when I read JLC. Especially, I was absorbed in the relationship between Danny and Reuven. When I read the part that they can't speak to each other, I felt that they seem Romeo and Juliet. And also I fluttered with joy as Danny starts to talk Reuven.
Naturally, I hate to be subject to restriction, so firstly when I learn Danny, I didn't understand him. However, the more I read this book, the more I understand Danny's position. Danny was inflicted some burden as a rabbi's son. In that case, if I were Danny, I would feel same burden. Throughout this book, my thought about Judaism is changed. Originally, I was indifferent them, and I thought they are heretical. But their passion and effort about religion are so great, so I want to be alike their passion and effort.
Moon Choe: As I started reading the novel, "The Chosen", I thought Danny's dreams and desire for knowledge will go south
