3. His Leadership Style
His leadership color is green which means powerful driving force. He is a typical power-leader whose strength is passion, sincere, and competitive spirit. Of course, that kind of leadership has some weakness but it is fit to the managerial environment of achieving goal in a short period.
He has confidence in his conviction and very bold in it. For example, general thoughts about female cosmetic market was that female cosmetics should be expensive and prestige. However, he became have the conviction that many woman wants inexpensive cosmetics through the information from internet community. Finally, he made confident goal that “Help all the women in the world to use good cosmetics in good price” and pioneer a new cosmetic market. He had the ability of detecting the possibility of Internet and understanding customer needs. Also, his plain and economical characteristics help him to succeed. He reduced cost except raw material cost. However he did not get such success easily. He experienced several failures but overcame them with efforts and patience. He said that success in business is from waiting the time with efforts and patience. From this, we can say that he confidence in his conviction, and waits a long time and make lots of efforts until getting success. Also, although he made success in his business, he has had adventures and taken risks like the introduction of foreign capital. Like this, he does not settle for his present success and go through adventure.
However, he also had some weakness that most that kind of power-leaders have typically. He is lack in listening others’ opinions and modesty. Especially, his lacking in listening others’ opinion makes his employee feels distant. And as I said before he has big confidence in his thoughts, but instead, he tends to ignore others’ thoughts.
