About 6.2 million people globally died of cancer and 10.1 million people are newly developing cancer. If same as above , by 2020, 10 million people each year may die of cancer and 10.1 million annual cancer incidence is expected to 50% increasing-15.7 million people. Korea's annual cancer-developed men are approximately 99,000(Approximately man 5,800, woman about 4,100). Korea's total death toll is about 246,000 people. Among them, cancer is regarded as the most main cause. There are many factors of cancer - in the spread of the western diet, environmental pollution, drinking and smoking. Cancer has reached to social issues. In above chart, total cancer incidence is increasing steadily. Cancer incidence between men and women is narrowing the gap as time goes by.

The above chart shows the incidence of cancers by sex. The notable point is that there are differences of developing cancer between man and woman. Gastric, colorectal, and lung cancer
