adults, college students, high school students.
Career thoughts: Outcomes of one's thinking about assumptions, attitudes, behaviors, beliefs, feelings, plans, and/or strategies related to career problem solving & decision making.
Appropriate Populations for the CTI
High school students – 11th&12thgrade who may be choosing a postsecondary field of study, choosing an occupation, or seeking employment
college students - choosing a major field of study, choosing an occupation, or seeking employment
adults – occupational/ employment change, seeking employment due to unemployment or underemployment, or reentering the labor market after a substantial period of nonpaid work (such as child rearing).
CTI & CTI workbook (“Improving Your Career Thoughts: A Workbook for the Career Thoughts Inventory”)
based on a cognitive information processing (CIP) theoretical approach to career development and career services
