All Koreans have spoken and listened to the phrase, ‘Dokdo is our territory.’ No one among us even casts a doubt on whether it is true or not and everybody accepts it as an undeniable truth. However, from foreigners’ point of view, what would they say? If they are Japanese who tend to argue Dokdo is their territory for the political purpose, the truth will be annoying for them. If they are Americans or Europeans who are not practically related to the matter, it will be a mystery, not knowing which side is wrong. From now on, the truth is to come out to the world.

한국인이라면 ‘독도는 우리땅’이라는 말을 한번쯤은 들어봤을 것이다. 누구도 의문을 가지지 않으며 당연히 받아들이는 독도는 우리땅이라는 진실을 외국인의 시선에서 바라본다면 어떨까? 경제적, 정치적 목적을 가지고 독도를 자기네 땅이라고 우기는 일부 일본인들에게는 외면하고 싶은 불편한 진실이겠고 제3자인 서양인들에게는 둘 중 하나라도 분명히 해주었으면 하는 진실일 것이다. 지금부터 이 진실을 밝히고자 한다.
