Out team Barcelona chose Pixar as our topic because Pixar’s HR strategy is very creative when it comes to making animated films and respectful to each worker. First, we analyzed about "HR Strategies" according to the book and the Professor, Girish supported to build information of this paper. The aim of this research is to study about Pixar strategies in the implementation of better suggestion in Pixar’s strategy. The concrete and good work atmosphere at Pixar will be discussed in this paper, rendering Pixar attractive from HR perspective. Working environment was provided at Pixar compared to Disney’s environment (Before acquisition between Pixar and Disney). The acquisition both Pixar and Disney will be frequently mentioned in this paper.
Since the adoption of acquisition both Pixar and Disney, Pixar has become the major animation production studio out of animation market. There is a lot of explicit strengths in Pixar. HR strategies of PIXAR are divided into 4 factors: Company’s strategies, Company’s Environment, Company’s Characteristics and Company’s capabilities. The third part is analyzing the company Pixar based on SWOT which is strengths, weakness, opportunity, threat. To compare other companies, we analyzed other two animation companies. In the conclusion, we’d like to see what their keys to success are and what their weakness to improvement for Pixar.
