Chinese economy had been controlled by the central government under the planned economy regime until 1979 (Morrison, 2007). In other words, most economic conditions used to be decided by the state in accordance with its policy, not by the market forces. From 1979, however, China has been experiencing huge innovation in its economic system until the present time. The biggest change during this period is to introduce the free market system and to allow its economy to be operated by the market forces. In addition, China has been promoting foreign investments in China and international trade with other countries. As a result of innovative changes in its system, Chinese economy has rapidly grown over the past several decades, and it has become the most important issue in global business.
